The Soundtrack to My Books, My Life, My Heart

Music is my lifeblood. It’s not just background noise... it’s woven into every part of who I am. I’m the kind of person who always has something playing, whether it’s blasting through the speakers or me humming off-tune to whatever’s been stuck on repeat in my head.

And if someone says a random sentence that gives me song vibes? I’m breaking into that lyric on the spot, no questions asked. Music isn’t something I listen to... it’s something I live.

When it comes to writing, music is just as essential as words on the page. Every scene has its own soundtrack. Songs that set the mood, fuel the emotions, and push my characters exactly where they need to go. I’ve got playlists for heartbreak, healing, and falling in love. Music shapes my stories as much as my imagination does, and I wouldn’t be able to write without it.

And yes—I have a playlist for everything.

Bored on a Sunday? There’s a playlist.
Car breaks down? Yep, I’ve got one for that too.

Writing sex scenes? Oh, hell yes. I've got multiple playlists as my characters deserve options when they’re getting down and dirty.

Basically… if there’s a mood, I’ve made a playlist for it. And if I haven’t yet, just give me five minutes and a glass of Billson’s.

Curious what’s on repeat in my world?  This playlist is basically my brain in shuffle mode. I update it often with whatever mood I’m in.
